Panel 1: Shen is happily running, grasping the string of a bright yellow balloon. The balloon is labeled "Self Esteem". Panel 2: Life steps into the panel holding a needle to the balloon. Shen skids to a halt in front of Life but it's too late -- the needle has popped the balloon, it's shape still vaguely outlined in the air by the chunks of yellow rubber now falling apart. Panel 3: Yellow balloon chunks rain down, a few landing on Shen's messy hair. He is distraught. He says: "Why" Panel 4: Shen is surprised to find Life, backlit by the bright sun, now holding out a way BIGGER yellow balloon labeled "Self Esteem" towards him, offering it to him.

Panel 1: Shen is scratching the back of his head, looking awkwardly off to the side, and blushing a bit. He says "Listen bro this is so embarrassing. I've, uh ... I've imprinted on you ... Yeah ... Yeah like a baby duck." Panel 2: Shen raises his hands defensively, seeming to be responding to something you, the viewer, are saying. He says "NO, >>LISTEN<<! LISTEN, INTELLECTUALLY--" Panel 3: Shen puts both his hands out, as if to indicate for you to stop talking for a second. He says "Can I talk? Can I just talk for like a MINUTE and then you can say your piece" Panel 4: Shen nervously tugs the left sleeve of his sweatshirt with his right hand, looks to the side and down, and blushes. He says "Okay, so ... INTELLECTUALLY I know you are not my mom. But" (The comic ends there.)
