Surely not the smell of rising oil prices is pushing the prices up straight away but yet if the oil prices start coming down, we need to wait for the prices to trickle through the market.

When the BBC sold the title on around 2011/2012, the mag cost about £1.20 per week.

Make of that what you will since then til today.

What's the BCB doing on our Friday programme pages?

From Feriday, because of changes in the law, your favourite tv magazine will be printing details of all the programmes on all the channels.

Crossing paths... Spitting Image as seen in the Radio Times and Del Boy in the TV Times. All in aid to promote additional channels to list for the first time #OnThisDay in 1991 in the respective magazines.

With tv listings now being allowed to be distributed across all print media #onthisday 35 years ago back in 1991, the TV Times decided to halve their cover price to attract new readers.

#OnThisDay 1991: 35 years ago today, the monopoly on listings magazines had ended with the deregulation of TV listings. So for example Radio Times can now list ITV/Ch4 programmes and TV Times with the BBC's.

Pictured are the covers from the first full week of such listings.
