Woohoo ! When I'm happy with my map data I can crunch it down from a whopping 1120 tokens, to a rather impressive 160 :) Now that's a saving I'm happy with. Still occupies 15.1Kb of actual chars tho :( #Pico8 #GameDev

I've still got mine ;) And to this day I still read through it when I'm coding games. Relevant or not, I still believe it helps me :) I also got mine free, not the £1.95 asking price (can't remember which advert I applied to to get the free version tho :( )

Funny that. Was just looking thru my projects folder (its a huge list that could take weeks to go through !) and I stopped on my remake of Magic Mushrooms ;) I only got as far as defining the grafix (tiles where shrunk to 6x4 pixels) but still looked ok. Maybe one day ill get back and do it ;)

That is a remarkable job. You look at some of the games for the Elk and Beeb back in the day and they suffer so much from flicker, but I've yet to see any flicker in this. Really is very nice and polished :)

I live in the UK. Its a shit hole. Its going to pot. The place is a mess and the government is shockingly bad. I'd say it could well be one of the worst places on the planet. But look on the bright side, at least I don't live in America.

Blimey. Looking back over some of the WIPs I've let slip is a shame. Some of those games looked bloody gorgeous. Games like Zaxxon and BankPanic! and Gyruss and Wizadore and 1942 plus many many more. All well into development. I really should sit down and finish at least one of them ;) #Pico8
