A lot of it is comparing movies to the sense of wonder you had when watching them as a child.. which is never going to come back, nothing will ever compare. But they’re seeking that sense of wonder and instead of letting it go and enjoying things differently, they’re looking at someone to blame

I made a video on this but I think titling your videos “Great, Good and Bad VFX” conditions your audience into thinking all VFX can only be one of those 3 things removing all nuance from the discussion and normalising the moving goal post behavior that anti cg bros have online
