Okay, we've driven around the Triangle and don't see any piles of particularly Christian-looking clothes, so we're assuming somehow, just like every other scheduled Rapture since the concept was conceived in 1844, it didn't happen.

We do hope everyone enjoyed apples and honey for Rosh Hashana.

All the 'Biblical signs' pointing to the rapture coming TOMORROW Speculation on social media that the end of days will arrive on September 23 has reached a frantic point, but many faith leaders continue to push back on the claims.

This account will go on hiatus for 48 hours. If the world doesn't end tomorrow, we'll be back.

This sort of rhetoric is disgusting, un-American, and downright dangerous. No one is above the law.

And it is exactly what the White Christian Nationalist ideology has been pushing for years — the idea that Donald Trump is a "savior" figure who is ordained to rule and is answerable only to god.

Apparently some members of the caucus, especially a small one like this, expect everyone to support all their initiatives, even if they're not related to the caucus's focus.

Last year the President of TFS met with Congresswoman Deborah Ross about joining the Congressional Freethought Caucus. She expressed support for separation of church and state, but had reservations about joining "another" caucus. Time to reach out to her and other area Reps this year. Add your voice
