This is a win for veterans everywhere. The fact that this was proposed in the first place was an insult to every person who has ever put on the uniform.

We will continue to hold this administration accountable to make sure our promises to those who served are kept, period.

Our Olympians Are Being Put in an Impossible Position American athletes have been asked to account for Trumpβ€”then attacked for doing so.

Trump and other Republicans may not like that some Olympic athletes are expressing their unease about representing America right nowβ€”β€œbut it’s the administration’s actions that have made the country so hard to defend and represent,” Jemele Hill argues.

The heads of Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, and Tesla all joined Trump at his inauguration.

Since then, largely thanks to Trump's Big Ugly Bill, their companies have reaped $51B in federal tax breaks β€” paid for by huge cuts to our social safety net.

This is what oligarchy looks like.

By Tara Copp and Alex Horton
(Washington Post) -- The Trump administration has withdrawn all federalized National Guard troops from U.S. cities, after its repeated attempts to surge forces into Democrat-run states encountered judicial roadblocks.
The pullout was quietly finalized late last month, occurring with no public acknowledgment from the White House or the Pentagon. It was a remarkable turnabout after President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had insisted the mobilizations were necessary to combat what they claimed was unchecked violence and to support enforcement of the nation's immigration laws.
The deployments β€” including more than 5,000 troops to Los Angeles, approximately 500 into Chicago and 200 to Portland, Oregon β€” were ordered despite the vehement opposition from state and local leaders who labeled the administration's actions an unlawful abuse of presidential authority. All of those service members were sent home by the end of January, according to U.S. Northern Command.

I was so naive. I truly thought the US was a β€œgood” country. A decent country. I was so wrong. It’s apparently a greedy money grubbing country of cold blooded and heartless hypocrites with a huge number of under educated and ignorant people underpinning it.

Costco’s CEO is an unlikely risk taker | CNN Business Ron Vachris does not fit the profile of a typical risk-taking executive.

Over the past year, Costco has taken a risk by adopting visible public stances at odds with President Donald Trump’s agenda. It makes Costco one of the few big companies to defy the administration β€” and get away with it: https://cnn.it/4qrfjB7
