Following up on yesterday's photo of the Wulzen Pharmacy building: an interior view of the original drugstore, circa 1897, possibly one of the earliest of D H Wulzen Jr's photographs.

The Wulzen Pharmacy was the principal business and a Post Office branch was one of the tenants facing 17th Street. This structure was demolished in 1913 after the city condemned most of the property for extending Market Street beyond Castro.

This is a 1905 shot of the Wulzen building at the SW corner of 17th/Castro/Market streets, constructed in 1885 for Wulzen drugstore below family quarters upstairs.
