#Bahrain #Birds Immature Western Reef Heron, showing typical green legs and mottled feathering. This year's birds will hatch from late June into August. Their final colour, be that white or grey-blue, is hard to determine.

Dickcissel, a favorite. Their distinctive song is heard all over the meadow, but they are reclusive and more rarely seen. 🪶

I know these are "common" but I don't get sick of them scurrying around. This one was making very high pitch, very quite call that I haven't heard/noticed before. Just out there living its best life. #birds 🪶
