Jane and her team support the local arts and literacy scene, encourage new and veteran writers and poets, make time to serve the community, and have created a place that feels like HOME.

I've been to book signings, author talks, craft nights, and I've had many a lunch or snack or cocktail there. I've met incredible people there, not the least of whom is the indomitable Jane Estes, owner of L&O.

If you know me even a little bit, you know how much I love Lark and Owl Booksellers in Georgetown, TX. We are so fortunate to have a local and inclusive bookseller - and it is so much more than a bookstore (though that's fabulous enough as it is).

PBS NewsHour is nightly, 7 days a week. One hour on weeknights, 1/2 hour on weekends. It is easily the most in-depth and thoughtful news in the US, though I’m often disappointed that their coverage isn’t as deep as I’ve seen in the past. Been watching it since it was the McNeil-Lehrer News Hour.
