At this point, anyone calling for restraint, for calm, for “peace” while we’re being gunned down in the street is doing the state’s work for them and perpetuating the “comply or die” politics of fascism.

Posting that the MN guard will counter ICE is dangerous misinformation: on the one hand, this places protesters in danger of violence from people they falsely believe are there to help; on the other hand and maybe more significantly this myth is pacifying and diffusing dissent when it’s needed most.

Countries w successful general strikes have v high levels of union membership and unions form the organizational & class basis of the strike. We need to unionize new shops and industries and agitate toward more militant class struggle politics within the unions. This is how we get to general strike.
