I'm so freaking excited y'all. This is it: the first pattern, the first step.

Next I need to find some sfx for crows and crickets and owl hoots.

I'm so excited. I haven't done the best job staying #consistent, but every day is another #opportunity.

One thing I need to figure out is how to make this #modularsynth cricket sound be less of a "BLEET" and more like natural sounding cricket sfx.

The vibe is evolving. Slowly but surely working until I find an intuition about how to use the interface. Like, understanding that if I want to layer sounds, that means adding #channels, not #patterns. The #fundamentals, #y'know?

This is what I got done today. It's simple, but it is exactly the vibe I need. It feels like trudging through a dark forest, putting one foot in front of the other hoping eventually you'll find some sign of civilization.

It's such a hard lesson to learn that I need to be less hard on myself in order to allow myself to create. Ah well.
