Really trying to be better and go to the gym consistently

After 60ish hours and getting 100% I can say that as solid of a game as Silksong is, Hollow Knight was still better. If you're a fan of overly punishing Metroidvanias, I'd recommend Silksong. If you want something casual to enjoy, I wouldn't.

That doesn't 'add challenge' to anything. It just makes stuff more annoying to deal with. "We can't make this mechanically harder, so let's just do more damage!" is just... lazy and poor design imo.

I am prepared to have all the tomatoes and shit thrown at me for this opinion.

I'm near the end of Act 2 of Silksong. I've completed all side content that I can do that I'm aware of, completed every optional boss, etc.

This far in I still stand by the fact that Team Cherry was lazy in their game design when it came to just having everything do 2 masks of damage.
