A 1,000 year old sacred camphor tree, known as Ookusu (or Goshinboku), located within the grounds of Atsuta Jingu shrine in Nagoya, Japan. It is believed to be a source of spiritual energy. A shimenawa (sacred rope) is tied around the tree, marking it as a holy site in the Shinto religion.

Democracy requires decency.

Our democracy is devolving because we neglected to demand common decency of the most powerful individual in our country; the President.

β€” Against raising the minimum wage
β€” Buys foreign imports because they're cheap

Screen grab from Facebook about a Korean company that rebranding their shampoo bottles into bottle shapes like the vegetable β€œnatural ingredients” used in the shampoo. Shapes are conveniently dildo and buttplug shaped to make it easy for people to rectally insert the bottles and do not have flared bases making it easy for them to loose grip and have the slight vacuum of the large intestine suck the bottle fully into the rectum and sigmoid colon requiring an emergency room visit with possible surgery to remove.
