A little continuation/prequel to my previous “Party Pooper” piece. I’ve been goin through it lately and I’ve kinda fallen back on some bad coping habits. It’s important to share your feelings and be genuine to those you love. You don’t need to put on a costume because you just need to be you.

I feel like a clown a lot of the time, just a living and breathing long running joke. I know this ain’t really the case, but it can be so hard to remind myself of that.

“Just put it on already…”

It really takes time to heal and if any of ya’ll are feeling a way, just know that it’s okay to ask for help. Take care of yourselves.

I’m grown now and it’s been years since I’ve last spoken with my mother… The hurt hasn’t fully left me though… Some days are so hard and I just I go through the motions of living. I don’t know if I’ll ever be really okay, but I hope so.

The current state of my country has been weighing on me and it’s been harder and harder to find joy in my day to day, but I’m not gonna trying. I’ll still get out of bed each morning, I’ll remain hopeful, and I’ll fight for every ounce of happiness I can get.

I love my dad, I do, but I can also believe he's a bad person. I need more time. I already don't speak to my mother, so this is especially hard for me.

I haven't been able to speak to my dad for a minute now. The last time we spoke, he asked me, "You'd put politics before family?"
