Superdawg - the only drive-in restaurant in Chicago, and the world's first topped by two half-human weenies (Maurie and Flaurie) standing on its roof since 1948.

Maurie and Flaurie, the mascots of Superdawg. They are anthropomorphic hot dogs with glowing eyes. Maurie has red eyes, wears a Tarzan-style yellow spotted singlet, and is flexing his biceps. Flaurie has blue eyes, wears a blue bow and a blue skirt, and gazes on at Maurie in admiration with her hands clasped. They are mounted on the roof of a building. It is just after sunset, facing northwest.

I don’t hate to promote this, because Portillo’s has long skated on the origin story, but it’s really just become a hot dog McDonald’s. Support your local hot dog stand, even if it means you cannot sit in your car in a drive-through.
