Does anyone else find 'societal filler' hateful?
A colleague opened a door into a room where I was tying my shoe & said "oh, I nearly knocked you out there!" but like, with the arc of the door there's no way it could hit me unless you're ripping it off the wall and hitting me with it, so why say it?
