trying to decide whether or not to cancel my WorldCon trip next week because the ticket and motel is paid for but I have no money for expenses or food at all I just scheduled my housing debt CC payments for the month and I don’t even have enough to pay the minimums on all my cards, so even basic groceries are gonna be a struggle this month but if I cancel I have to find $300 to pay WorldCon back because I got financial assistance to attend I want to go, I need to network, but I’m sitting here trying not to panic because I genuinely have no idea when I’ll get another book payment and I don’t have any further deals lined up yet

I have some great news for you about my book THE HEX GIRLS: A ROGUE THORN, releasing August 26th.

I seem to have an endless amount of dropping shoes.

This is good to know. It would be quite a drive, but I’ll keep it in mind if her condition worsens.

Paddy has a cough. We can’t afford a trip to the vet, so please pray it’s just a cold and she feels better soon. Colbie had a really bad cough in her final weeks that turned out to be fluid in her lungs and I’m really hoping this isn’t the same.

I don’t think people talk about how much your ability to dream dies as life beats you down. I try really hard to be an optimistic and positive person, but notice my faith in happy endings and miracles dwindling with each day. I’m struggling to believe I’ll ever get even a modicum of happiness.

Kids are very welcome! It’s YA, so nothing inappropriate will be discussed and I’m thinking of bringing cupcakes!

I genuinely cannot think of anything more legally nightmarish for the performers, artists, and writers of screen media. The hope is clearly to never pay another actor ever again and just use their likenesses without accountability.
