Six years ago, Ahmaud Arbery was jogging. That was enough to be a death sentence.

We remember his life, as a constant charge to continue the fight for justice, humanity, accountability, and an end to the poison of white supremacy.

I was class of ‘85 in HS (Bishop Miege in JoCo, KS) but worked a couple years then headed over to KU (kept working). Grad in 91. Now we live downhill from Allen Fieldhouse. If we get tix, we always walk. We walk our pups on campus daily.

Long drive to Kansas City? Not sure where the ESPN folks are staying in KC but the drive from Lawrence is gonna be a half hour (Lenexa) to an hour (downtown KC). It’s the getting out of the parking lot that’s a slog. #SportsCenter #AllenFieldhouse #kubball
