In May 1991, EGM gave one of the first previews of a little blue hedgehog. It's amazing that the world had no idea what was about to happen to gaming.

Now that you have control over your own time, you have no time. And you never get a second chance at a first play of an amazing game. Enjoy it all as much as you can, kiddo.

But once you're an adult, take some time when you can to relive those memories. It won't be the same, but it'll be fun.

Ugh, such a hard pick! Go back to the days where Bases Loaded Baseball looked "real" or seeing the speed of Sonic the Hedgehog for the first time? Or the first time playing Halo CE with friends and getting the first headshot with the pistol?

I didn't think I'd actually like the jump from Perfect Dark to Halo, but dammit if Halo didn't draw me in. The multiplayer was just so damn smooth and fun. I did miss the AI bots in multiplayer though. That would have been a great addition to Halo.

I never got to experience the top one. I just had the more streamlined bottom version with my Saturn. I bought the USB version of it for playing emulated Saturn games at home now.
