I want to specify I’m keeping all my GremlinTheOdd accounts, these are my main professional art accounts, but I want to move Vtuber activities under a new name.

The one thing I’m hesitant to pull the trigger on is changing my twitch handle, because GremlinTheOdd has been my name everywhere for around 10 years at this point and it’s what my friends recognize me by. But I feel like for consistent branding I should.

I mentioned this over on twitter already but the plan is to make new accounts for a new, more well-rounded and planned out Vtuber character. I’ve already made a new Twitter account specifically for her, and I’m working on design and branding. I would also like to find a good voice changer.

I’m about to finally add the UV wraps I’ve been working on to the merman model and I’m so nervous. What if they look like shit and I have to start over.

Can blender export transparent PNGs? also for parts that will be animated you have to run them through a sprite packer that puts them all in a neat little row that the PNGtuber program can play like a strip of film. for example this is what the animation strip looks like for the tail on my pngtuber:

That’s the right way to look at it but the way PNGtuber programs are set up is they play the frames themselves, there’s no way to plug in a video or gif file

As someone who makes and sells PNGtubers and has experience with the software, I don’t think animating it in blender is going to work, PNGtubers don’t use pre-rendered animation.
