Watched #GoodBoy yesterday and have a few takeaways - the film was not a supernatural horror to me, it was about how dogs see disease and death in humans, and how they can smell the past. Also they can be much better actors than their two-legged counterparts.
Great movie!
How am I supposed to write horrific, dystopian tales of the unexpected when the real world keeps trying to one up me?

#OneBattleAfterAnother was almost rendered unwatchable by the score.
I dislike #jazz at the best if times. It affects me the same way Jack Daniels does-makes me anxious and a bit fighty-but the discordant piano sections reached new lows in my jazz education.

My frustration with promising #TVshows lately:
Let characters breathe. Let them matter without kissing someone by episode six. Let stories explore connection without defaulting to romance like it’s a narrative life raft.
Not everything needs a love story. Some stories just need better #writing.

I watched #TheLongWalk - last night and loved it. The story remained very close to @stephenking.bsky.social’s incredible story that totally captured my 12 year old mind when it first published.
The movie reignited my passion for the tale, although it feels less like fiction in today’s world!
