If you’re a democrat, demand your leaders speak to these issues too. Trans people deserve rights and we should fight for those, but we also need to figure out how to solve for issues that affect all Americans if we expect to gain support from moderate and swing voters.

I think what is really jarring about the capitol bathroom ban, is that DC is one of the most trans-inclusive cities in the world. It has the highest trans population in the United States.

Every business is trans friendly in bathrooms.
