Very bad: OSU unilaterally cancelled the registration of grad students attending the joint conference of the National Society of Black Physicists and the National Society of Hispanic Physicists. And OSU won't fund recruiting at the Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science.

We will start matching mentors and mentees this weekend.
We have 52 mentors and 91 students signed up so far.

We can support more mentors and students (UG, Postbac, & Grad).

Very few things are as fun and as immediately gratifying as doing a Skype a Scientist classroom visit. I just had the best time talking with 3rd graders in NJ! Huge shoutout to @skypeascientist.bsky.social for making it such a seamless experience and building a platform for this critical mission! 🧪
