"A MAGA occupation of a left-leaning city."

If you look closer at what's happening on the streets of LA and DC, you'll see this is more than just "fighting crime"β€”it's a politically partisan occupation.

@dfriedman.bsky.social reports on what's happening in the streets of DC.

Alligator Alcatraz.

FL lawmakers are finally being let inβ€”after Dems got turned away last week.

Here’s the catch: the tour’s not β€˜til Saturday

They know the conditions are inhumane. Scrub the cages, hide the worst of it, and pray no one asks too many questions.

Don’t let them sanitize the truth!

HA = hemagglutinin, the influenza H1N1 surface protein approximately equivalent to the sars-cov2 spike protein.

Bottom line: Covid is a multi-system disease not only a respiratory disease. That's why Long COVID can be so varied causing at least 200 possible symptoms.

Every time you get COVID, you run the risk of developing Long COVID. It isn't a binary condition, it is multi-systemic injury. That happens every time you catch it to some degree.

We don't know why it cripples some people, only that it does. Vaccines help prevent Long COVID, but not nearly as much as repeat infections increase the risk of it.

There is no cure for Long COVID.

COVID is not a respiratory illness. It's an immune-evasive-&-corrupting multi-systemic disease that slips past the blood-brain barrier & dysregulates cellular function. Pass it on.

(And you doβ€”unless you ventilate & wear fitted N95 respirators, which >90% of you don't. Good luck with that)

Healthcare expert warns of coverage shock under 'One Big Beautiful Bill' Medicaid work requirements, ACA subsidy expiration, and Medicare Advantage cuts could disrupt coverage for millions.

Another piece on how ACA subsidies will expire at the end of the year thanks to the GOP, and how premiums will jump as a result.

Also covers other healthcare impacts, but unlike a lot of articles that only focus on Medicaid, this talks a lot about the subsidies.

As set forth in the attached Report, the Government of El Salvador responded to the UN
inquiry opened by the four families asking about the disappearance of their family members:
1 The attached exhibit has redacted personal identifying information for the four men discussed in the WGEID report. Petitioners can file an unredacted version of the exhibit under seal at the Court's request, with the exception of one of the cases for particular privacy reasons related to that individual.

The Salvadoran State emphatically states that its authorities have not arrested, detained, or transferred the persons referred to in the communications of the Working Group. The actions of the State of El Salvador have been limited to the implementation of a bilateral cooperation mechanism with another State, through which it has facilitated the use of the Salvadoran prison infrastructure for the custody of persons detained within the scope of the justice system and law enforcement of that other State. In this context, the jurisdiction and legal responsibility for these persons lie exclusively with the competent foreign authorities, by virtue of international agreements signed and in accordance with the principles of sovereignty and international cooperation in criminal matters. In this regard, the actions attributable to the Salvadoran State are limited to its sovereignty and territorial jurisdiction, and therefore it cannot be held responsible for the failure to observe the principle of non-refoulement with respect to the persons mentioned.

It was an egregious show of force. I have no idea what their purpose was. I don’t even think they detained anyone.
