The FSBI Medal Winners session starts with a talk from Colin Adams. Colin, previous President of the FSBI, has been awarded this year's Beverton Medal. Given the FSBI's focus on supporting ECRs, Colin draws on his wealth of experience, with a talk titled "Surviving a career in research" #FSBI2025

Our final medal award winner is Oliver Crimmen, of the Nautral History Museum (London), who was awarded this year's Le Cren Medal. With over 50 years of experience, some species are now present in the collection but extinct in the wild, which gives much pause for thought #FSBI2025

Happy World Wildlife Day!

Over the years, ETN members have tracked an astounding 147 species, with our current top 20 showcased here.

Doing so has taught us so much about the wildlife that surrounds us. Let's take a look at some of the things we've learned about aquatic wildlife using telemetry...

Illegal marine wildlife trade is complex, cross-border and undermines attempts at protecting biodiversity in our ocean. Only deep cross-organisational collaboration will allow it to be tackled. An excellent start this week with colleagues from UK and across ASEAN #maritimeIWT25 #CefasScience
