All of our wildlife patients this year so far have been owls, but this is our first short-eared.
You can help prevent car strikes like this by obeying rural speed limits and not throwing any litter out of cars. Even organics like apple cores attract rodents to roads, which attracts their hunters. 🪶

Sorry to rant like this, but I'm just so tired of the Trump Admin's evil fuckery.

I especially love that Nelnet first sent an email saying my renewal was approved.

Then sent a follow up email saying just kidding, we canceled it because you don't qualify for the program even though nothing changed from last year.

It's the time of year when I re-certify my income based repayment plan with the government.

Even though my status haven't changed, this year, Nelnet (the government) has rejected my application & told me to fill it out again.

I've decided to cut out the chapters with the Sisters of the Shimmering Moon (nuns) to spend more time building up how awful Nettie's married life was.

But, I'm still keeping the initial meeting in a church. It's now just at the Forge God's with Father Elidor instead.

I'm about 70% through writing my novel.

I realized that I could cut down 10 chapters to 3 by completely redoing a section of the opening arc.

But, I told myself I'd wait til the book was done to edit.

Double but, this change would have a cascade effect that would lead to more editing.

I've already handed out over 1,000 whistles to the community.

Probably because some people believe that I am also not real.

One way to avoid drawing El Sombrerón attention is to cut your hair short, as he is very attracted to long hair.

He loves it so much, that he will often braid horses’ manes and tails.

His idea to catch a woman is to stake a string of mules outside her home. Then he will serenade her, until she comes outside (even if it’s to tell him to stop).

El Sombrerón will suddenly snatch her up and ride off to his home.

Once there, he will force her to do housework and feed her dirt.

El Sombrerón fancies himself quite the catch and will pursue a woman long after she’s made it clear that his interest is unwanted.

El Sombrerón is decked out in black clothes that are adorned with many fancy buckles. He also wears a matching wide brim hat and extravagant boots.

Although he is nicely dressed, his personality is quite unpleasant.

We need to push back & let them know that we won't let them take anyone's rights away.

You have no idea how much my quality of life has improved since getting top surgery.

I feel lighter & enjoy so many more little moments.
