Lovely chatty lark run today with my buddies from Ashford Tri Club

I do love my club pals

Thought about it but never actually done it

Lego afternoon and another F1 car added to the collection

So meeting with Head yesterday about pitting RS back on timetable for all year groups, starting next year went well. 11 page proposal and solution document at the centre of the meeting. Very productive now we wait for a decision…

Car broken and off to the garage today, so its the train to work for the first day of this term!

Year 9 options assembly in the morning… 5 min slot to “sell RS” do i stick with the usual method or throw a curve ball

The usual method worked well last year with 30 students opting for GCSE… ideally i want the same again if not more…

Great weekend at #StrictlyRE with my department. Buzzing with ideas we went back and put some into our lessons (yes we worked on the curriculum) and now time to rest before putting the ideas into practice tomorrow

Hotel booked for last night and tonight so powering through lol

So based on a day of #StrictlyRE myself and my department have gone back to the hotel and have worked on adapting the curriculum #TeamRE

#StrictlyRE means the annual fresh ideas to redesign the curriculum once again!

Well nearly the end of this week and boy oh boy has it been a busy one.
Stuff for New York School Trip double checked, final information evening next week too

Well Year 11 back and making me work.

Department is good and ready to go for this year, strong team that i have to call ‘mine’

Day 1 of the new school year done. Plenty to do and plenty of things done so far. How has your return to school been?

Have loved this summer of sport and glad there is more to come. Sport is a good outlet for students too, with that in mind i am debating whether or not to being back my old year 11 run club to help with mental health and exam stress…

So prep for return of new school year all but done ready for Monday. Even got an afternoon run in too - training is well underway for Escape from Meridian (ultra marathon).

Another location sorted for an open water swim induction- giving me more places to swim. This Triathlon stuff has alot to another for… 😂

Around 7 weeks until my religion, philosophy and ethics trip to New York - exciting. Still a dew little bits to tidy up for the students, starting with a final info evening in a dew weeks.

So after yesterday’s morning and afternoon runs, today was about A-Level results and home made pizza on the pizza oven
