I really do miss when the peak of mobile games being shitty was "zynga kinda sucks, microtransactions are satan, and king is doing bullshit lawsuits". Now everything uses copious amounts of ai and/or has blatant gambling for kids. And the microtransactions are infinitely worse now.

Slay The Spire is a game where if you think you have a really good run going it will crash and burn in the third act, but if you have a run that looks dicey and you're not really sure of it you'll probably at least make it to the heart
