I fucking hate this so much. I hate this so fucking much, but I can't continue to stay silent anymore while my integrity is continuing to be misconstrued and people keep getting hurt. This statement details my experiences while living with Noir Enigma (@/thenoirenigma) when I was homeless.

I'm not going to tell you how to feel and what to do in a situation - but I felt the stakes were VERY clear from the beginning. You're not exempt from this "just because you yourself need a heads up about sudden character death" cuz a lot of these can't...be planned...for this setting?

Also, I cannot help if you are overwhelmed with your character's many many abilities by that point, pick tactics that draw the ire of the enemy and then get yourself killed for it :')

I get that it sucks - people love their characters and you want your guys to win but also, like, you are fighting essentially a demigod, and this is not the first time a player character has been killed in this pursuit

Players signing up for escalating stakes in their games then being angry their characters inevitably get sacrificed in game is uh...yeah certainly an issue
