Subject: Oasis Pool
Good Afternoon,
Please be advised that the Oasis Pool is temporarily closed for cleaning due to a biohazard incident. We will inform you as soon as it reopens. The Serenity Pool remains open. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
It’s insane this is legal. People around Trump are profiting off war and death. I’m introducing legislation ASAP to ban this.

According to Coin Desk, "Six insider accounts on Polymarket won around $1.2 million by predicting the U.S. would strike Iran on February 28."

Thus far Dems look like they want to repeat 2003 all over again. Remember how that turned out for Senator Clinton in 2008?
28.02.2026 17:45 — 👍 4 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0There is no need to trip all over yourself and galaxy brain a statement like this. Just say war is bad, what Trump is doing is illegal, and that he’s a liar when he said he wouldn’t get the US into any wars. It’s really not hard but democrats love to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

28.02.2026 17:40 — 👍 10 🔁 2 💬 1 📌 0Process arguments are not moral values statements. If the opposition party’s only argument against going to war with Iran is a critique of *how* it was done, not a moral statement that it SHOULDN’T HAVE BEEN DONE AT ALL; this is why people think we’re feckless.

Polymarket launched “US/Israel strikes Iran by…?” on Jan 8, 2026. Total trading volume: $19.8 million. Just before the operation, March 1 carried an implied probability of ~92%.
By this morning, traders priced Feb. 28 as essentially certain.
Just 16 days ago, two Israelis were charged with using classified military information to place bets on betting markets like Polymarket. According to the AP, Israel’s public broadcaster Kan had reported that the bets were placed in June ahead of Israel’s attack on Iran. Winnings were roughly $150K.
28.02.2026 15:55 — 👍 1 🔁 1 💬 1 📌 1I’d like a moratorium on claiming anything is a distraction from anything else. I mean. It may be. Either in purpose or impact, a distraction. But we don’t need to triage these horrors and pit them against one another. They’re not mutually exclusive. It’s *all* fucking awful.

The judges in WV have seen enough.
They say that if the ICE continues detaining people in ways they have unanimously deemed illegal they will start issuing civil fines and contempt findings — including against state officials who help them carry it out.

The government illegally took your money.
They won’t give it back.
I'm begging my fellow politicians, Illinoisans, and Americans to realize that right now, we aren't fighting over policy or political party.
We're fighting over whether we're going to be a country rooted in empathy and kindness — or one rooted in cruelty and rage.

This Week in Pensions, Democrats in Washington state are attempting to redirect $3.3B from the Police and Fire Pensions. Are they drunk? The answer may surprise you.

No joke I think Minneapolis should keep their flag & folks need to just fully lean into its weirdness. Come up with funny alternate items for the quartered circle. Make up a Pride version. Stuff like that. Embracing a (non-offensive) weird flag is better than coming up with too slick of a new one

Food is political. Restaurant labor is political. Restaurant food and beverage taxes? Political.
In a democracy, we determine our collective futures through politics.
I despise this across-the-board, blanket labeling of anything divisive or uncomfortable as "political." Please stop with this.
