If you're looking to do a lot of raster engraving, the gf is pretty slow and kinda sloppy for that. Gf's cloud server driver is Annoying but I understand why it do that. Gf advertises a pass-through on their pricier model for large materials, but it sounds unreliable to me.

I've got a Glowforge, it cuts 1/8" wood/acrylic nicely (I mostly use it for leather). It'll start to struggle at 1/4" thick. I got it in the initial 2016 batch, and have been impressed with how reliable it's been, very few repairs needed. There's more options out there now that I don't know as well.

Yep! Designed it myself. I use a 3D CAD program to sculpt the mask, then flatten it into shapes I can cut out of the leather.

Horse came together really well! Gonna see if I can get the mane ready to rivet tonight.

Stayed up too late working on like 4 projects but I am So Excited about how this new one is turning out.

This year I made more product earlier than I usually manage, so I’m relatively set for the small stuff, and I get to focus on the larger pieces. Got 2 muzzle masks cut and dyed tonight, along with some extra stuff.

I’m set up at #GildedClaws for the night! Come feel up some leather, try on a collar, and maybe even get sized up for a custom harness.

Oh dang that’s actually a good idea. They’re all basically the same shape too so one standard pattern ought to work.

I’d been hoping for this, but also, dang it’s gonna be busy. I’d been accepted to the night market, but since the main hall was an uncertainty, that’s why I also jumped on the chance for Gilded Claws for new years. I need to make so many things now.

Just got pulled off the waitlist to sell in the main vendors’ hall at ANE send help.

Wolf skull muzzle! Squeezed this order in just before heading out for the holidays.

Made a holster for a pair of scissors, as a gift for my sister who’s been doing a lot of crochet. Inside is also a little sleeve for a big needle.

Got it finished up and assembled, minus the sleigh bells which are coming in the mail. Will have this harness ready for Gilded Claws on New Year’s Eve. Thinking of trying to also make a deer hood to go along with it, to really max out the holiday spirit.
