Good question! This is because of generational gimmicks. Hexagons benefited greatly from tessellation, which was added after gems were removed. This made hexagons near impossible to counter-shape because of its latent synergy.

You can counter-shape hexagons, but you can’t counter everything else.

Triangles lost a lot of the sauce when type gems were removed, the extra 1.5x on polygon beam synergised really well with isosceles’ high special attack for consistent STAB damage against a rhombus core

Formal attire for one specific part of the game (if you know you know) They gave me the default basic fit and i got so annoyed at the freebie i went on a 2+ hour shopping spree to make a fit of my own. The girafarig tights stay on at formal events
