The Pradel team wishes Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It was a challenging year for us, as we had to vacate our unit at short notice for fire safety work, and when we returned in autumn, our equipment had been damaged. Meanwhile, the parasite cultures are growing again. Fingers crossed!

#NatureBites - Avoiding certain keywords in research proposals, as is currently practiced in the United States to avoid penalties, is a dangerous trend that significantly curtails research freedom. If research has to adapt to political mood swings, this spells the end of innovation and invention.
