Suspended. Ascending. Confined. Descending. Against a pitch black background, the Viera spreads her arms with one foot lightly crossed over the other. Palms up and wrists exposed, her forearms are cut nearly their entire length. Instead of blood, red rose petals from the wound. A crown of golden corvids and spikes sits upon her head, her clothes a mixture of white flowing fabrics and brass, shined armour. In one hand she carries a dried rose, with fingers of both hands wrapped in golden bands. Eyes to the heavens, a spotlight from behind gives her an aura which represents a halo. Mouth open and brow furrowed, she seems caught between worry, confusion and pain. Is she rising, falling, trapped, or transcending? …Eventually, I will stop using religious iconography. Eventually.

I just completed Clair Obscur, and enjoyed every moment of it. What a ride. It's truly an incredible game.

We keep getting more realistic looking dog and cat mounts/minions, which I like. And I'd kill for a more realistic looking horse mount in the game. I need it.

I originally wanted to play it, but after I learned about this, it doesn't feel so bad that it's not available on PS5 in my country.
I'd rather invest in games that are created with care.

I've had him ever since male Viera were added, and I had a separate account for him, but I felt too much like a split person trying to run two accounts so I deleted it.
Thinking of posting pics of him here on occasion, next to my Elezen of course.

Never been all that fond of tails on Viera, so my boy doesn't have one! And while I like the concept of Viera claws and peet, I prefer the vanilla look in FFXIV.
