The surge in violence meted out by ICE absolutely should continue to be condemned, but I think a lot of people didn't realize or care that activists have been facing life-altering injury from cops for generations. "Law enforcement" has always been the violence. It ALL needs to stop.

Apparently being an emotional wreck with no one to make plans with helps me get things done even if I cry randomly. Because nothing is going to get better without some sort of action.

Its really hard to even want to do anything. I just want to rot. I can't sleep, not motivated. It probably is just going to hurt no matter what I do. But moving forward is the only option. I don't like it one bit, but the world doesn't care and neither does time.

When someone seems to accept the parts of you that you're not able to express, someone who actually encourages improvement and growth, then they decide to leave you in the repressive life you're trying to escape feels like such a betrayal but I know it's not. Its protecting their peace. Still hurts.
