The Museum of Cider holds a vast collection of Pomagne bottles, spanning the 20th century. We are, however, missing bottles from a number of years especially pre-1960 and the 1980s. Please get in touch if you have, or know of, any Pomagne bottles from these decades.

Can you help complete our collection? 🍾🍎
Pomagne was produced by the Bulmer's cider company for nearly 100 years, from the 1910s until the 2010s, marketed as a drink suitable for any celebration!

πŸ“£ Last chance to see!

The last date to come and see the Art of the Label exhibition will be the 31st January. This exhibition showcases four modern makers who use art rather than text to convey their messages.

It's been a long radio silence since we last posted, but so much has gone on! New website, new events, new staff... And, not least, PerryFest on the 4th October, where we celebrated the humble perry pear with the help of CAMRA, Three Counties Cider and Perry Association, and friends.

When you revisit a museum 30 years later & finally get to try the samples… 🍎

The @museumofcider.bsky.social in Hereford was so much bigger than I remembered, although it probably has changed a lot! The basement area was especially impressive.

...we did leave with 2 bottles of perry in hand! 🍐

One of the things about our museum is that visitors think it's going to be small from the front. But it stretches... This was drone footage from our building work last year when we had to demolish and rebuild one of the 1890s 'champagne cider cellars'.
