Yes, as I have said Carney is a great trade minister. He fails as a prime minister and leader of what was once a great country. Carney cares about business owners & money, and that's important but the PM should speak out for democracy, the Charter and unity. He doesn't. He's a snake.

Then I was excited about Carney because of 'Values' and now I feel completely duped.

Ironically I was worried when he was first elected because I was worried about the economy (not completely wrong)

I miss Trudeau. I know it turned a lot of voters off but he always spoke up for human rights, for marginalized groups, for Canada and the Charter. He gave hope and leadership.

I get that. It's not even the pipeline. It's the optics, the politics, the relationships damaged, the lack of leadership or federalism. The boost she's going to get from this. I worry for my kids and would leave Canada if there was someplace that wanted me & would be safe for them.

I go to rallies and attend zooms, donate to 2SLGBTQ charities, but it doesn't seem to matter. And our PM just stays quiet, jets off, shakes hands and makes trade deals. Those are great, superb even, but that is not democracy or human rights. He doesn't, IMO, lead.

Again, to be clear, I will not be supporting the LPC under Carney. NDP? 🤞🏻 Even if it is a throw away vote. CPC, I'd prefer not but at least they don't say one thing and do another. Perhaps it's fatalistism but I see little diff between the outcomes of a PP one & a MC one. MC is just more polished.

Living as a Canadian in Alberta I am absolutely heart-broken. I have been unable to sleep. Smith has targeted union members, trans youth, the disabled and broken universal health care. And Carney has said nothing and this MOU - which I don't believe is a long game, enables her. 💔😭 It is so hard here

I'm traditionally happy with the LPC - prefer old PC. NDP have been nonsense, and CPC are repugnant. My point is that Carney, on a number of points, is not acting that different from what the CPC want. And he is not standing up against Smith, allowing her to harm Albertans.

You have more faith in his character than I do.

The things that are being done have people who have spent their careers protecting the environment and following the legislation are looking at their careers as a waste of their lives.

I know it doesn't matter, but what Carney has done is wrong. 😞

What I'm saying is I won't vote LPC, so the options are the other two. At least Pollievre doesn't pretend to be what he's not. I hope the NDP are a viable option.

Many traditional NDP voters voted LPC to stop the CPC. It's traditional LPC/PC voters who will have to find a home. It depends on if the fed NDP get their act together. At this point, I will vote ND or CPC because at least with PP he doesn't hide who he is.

Unfortunately, this will emboldened her and her supporters. She will claim success (and continue to hurt Albertans). Moe has already gone after Enby, telling him to join 'Team Canada'. The pressure on Enby will be intense.
