One last pic with the Gina before I hand her off to my bff

I caved and got the large Kazuma instead of the trio of backup small ones...

While I wait for it to return and my refund to go through (seller has been lovely throughout the whole debacle) I can ask myself if I actually NEED the extra RyuAsoBaro, or if I should just reorder the MD (and a Gina for my bff).

Further update: the seller had informed me that US customs returned the package. Apparently it was shipped one day too late to be allowed through (cutoff was the 19th), and the package is on its way back to Japan now. Great.

Update: the beans have been found. They were hiding in an old Pusheen subscription box (fittingly, the fruit-themed one from summer last year). Meanwhile, the new ones are on their way, out on the ocean somewhere.

Sure as hell, as soon as new ones arrive, the old ones will be found somewhere. What adventure have they been on all this time...

The RyuAsoBaro beans I bought last year for my birthday magically disappeared a few months later after a visit to my in-laws (see the only pic I have from that day). They still haven't turned up a year later, and we've looked everywhere. Maybe it's time to buy a new set since there's also MD now...

First draft and first major edits are finally done! I'll be getting a beta read done once holiday vacation starts. I'm really excited to start posting this story!

Anyone else have days/weeks/months where the characters just don't behave? I want to shake them and say, "look, I'm trying to do really nice things for you!" but I still don't think they'd cooperate. 49,400 and counting, just the final scene left.

Crossed 47k yesterday on the BaroRyuu gothic parody, I think I've got about three scenes left to write. Really hoping to finish the first draft by Friday so I can start editing heavily next week. Would love to have the whole thing posted by the end of the year. 🤞

Shouldn't even think about it until this massive BaroRyuu piece is finished. It's crossed 40k and will probably be 50k before I'm done whyyy
