I drew this concept during a challenge. The task was to design a servitor in the Warhammer style (funny enough, almost 50% of the participants ended up drawing waiters).

Another stage in the development of the underground rodent race. These sketches were made with a preliminary understanding of the setting and their level of technological advancement. You can see the final character lineup in the first comment under the post.

Here I want to show one of the early stages of developing the underground rat/mole race. Usually, when I’m tasked with creating a race or a civilization, after gathering references and defining a general direction, I start sketching their proportions and anatomy.
