I agree that the content is very important. However, I understand the click bate headline, because Joe Rogan is a very popular voice of the authoritarian regime and many have been waiting for someone to speak for people who don’t think like him. They even call it a need for “a democrat Joe Rogan”.

Don’t Expect Art To Save Us When we feel politically helpless, we turn to 'subversive' entertainment. But winning within the realm of pop culture is a poor substitute for political power.

The role of art is to critizise, challenge status quo and to provoke thought. At best art supports the movement for change, but we cannot expect artists to create change. That is a responsibility of every single one of us.

Also, my comment originally was about the podcast “What Has America Ever Done For Us” . Though the name sounds provocative, the interviewees also bring forth the positive affects of USA.

Because of another US company AirBnB we don’t have long term apartments and houses for rent, because it’s all short term renting now. And the price of the remaining long term properties have skyrocketed. Earlier the tourism money enriched the local economies, now I mostly goes to big corporations.

It’s surprising that we only talk about this when the Chinese do it, when the damage to the European economy is as bad when the US big money does it. For example, Blackrock alone has caused a tremendous housing crisis in Europe with its’ acquisition of a huge amount of private property here.

I agree that most of the American people are aligned with the European people and vice versa. My comment was about the big American corporations buying a huge amount of viable companies and infrastructure in Europe. For years the money has flown to USA instead of staying here leaving us poorer.

What a refreshing non-American podcast raising issues that should be more widely talked about in the whole of Europe. All the main media is talking about is our dependence of China while we have let the US take us over with little or no resistance.
