Enjoyed that. It managed to put my thoughts on the 2024 costumes into words better than I ever could.

I wouldn't say they're 'bad' designs, but I'd certainly make the argument that when you have to start writing the name of the character on the costume it's heading into poor design territory.

Just imagine the yard tracks looking like pre-preservation Talyllyn... 😆

Just to provide some additional context here before people start asking why I couldn't just forge/weld a new blade on: The place I work at is in the middle of a national park, so due to local planning laws we can't have a forge or do any heat work since we're not allowed a smokestack/chimney.

I do kitchen knife sharpening & reshaping (for broken knives) as part of my job.

Customer turned up one day, broken knife. A carving knife that now only had a stub of a blade 1inch long on the handle. They couldn't understand that I couldn't just magically make the blade 1ft long again.

Just had a look at the plotline for this one - Don't know whether to laugh or cry...

Truly, THIS, was the bard's true vision! 😂

Tried to draw some silly supermarionation inspired pony imagery tonight, got sidetracked onto other jobs. Either way, it'd take a lot to top this one I think... 😅

I still have no idea how the actor for the forest spirit got into the final room and up close to us unnoticed as we were literally playing sardines at that point, I can only guess that he was already there and we were unwittingly herded in front - A great use of the art of misdirection!

I'm not one for big scares, but the new Edge of the Forest was very good. A lot more story driven than recent mazes and did mess with my mind a bit till halfway through.
