For all the press in NY, imho there's an obvious possible explanation for the Mets' clubhouse woes that's barely gotten attention: money. If you look at the reported friction points among players this offseason, it maps pretty well to the hierarchy of who's making more and/or has a longer-term deal.

Do you have to be *extremely* cost conscious or even just slightly? The markup they charge vs PCs with comparable specs is insane. Plus the walled garden problem, lack of compatibility, etc. I'm on an Ubuntu PC for cost + interop with my Android phone (or whatever TF else I want to use, ever).

I agree, but would also say that if you read NYT or Washington Post for a month, focused on a particular bill, you would *definitely* understand its major details. The prob of people being uniformed isn't just the news orgs' fault; it's also our society becoming aliterate.
