We're really in a state of "you have money to take care of a kid" or you don't.

Parents weren't taught how to parent (and the U.S. Education system isn't helping that), the economy is in shambles (has been for years) and you have to work several jobs to make a living. It's impossible to buy a home nowadays. The problems keep going.

This might be a hot take but saying "parents need to parent more" doesn't really help. The pandemic of predators online is the result of socioeconomic issues dating back probably a decade ago with the rise of iPad kids. I'll put the issues in the next post 1/2
