The profit motive will always have more representation with workers fragmented.

The current model for game development is no longer sustainable.

A system that banks on the current project earning back its costs and then funding another is precarious at best.

There are existing models we can look to when we're deciding the future of the industry.

By unionizing we can implement better practices such as preventing @microsoft.com and @xbox.com from abusing freelance contracts and cycling out workers once their contract is due, denying them full time positions with benefits.

Find me a small publisher whose focus is on supporting developers and building a top notch community.
