This reminds me of when I was invited to a small movie house that only had 2 theatres. One was showing “The Quiet American”. I asked what it was about and the front desk said the Vietnam War. So, I picked the other film saying “I don’t like war movies but I love music”. Movie #2 was “The Pianist” 🤦‍♀️

For me, the worst is not being able to eat. Both times, based on the instructions and appointment start time I was given, I had to go >40 hours without food, which makes me feel awful and soooo cranky.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. When otherwise smart people don’t “get it”, it’s because they actively don’t want to, as it doesn’t fit how they want to live. I even have a sibling that runs an h&s firm that consults on ppe and AQ, but thinks Covid is nbd and makes fun of my mitigations 🙄

I used to have recurring dreams of multi-tornadoes and not being able to get my two kids under the age of 3 to safety. I was not actively aware, though my subconscious obviously was, that my marriage was ending soon and I needed to prepare for life getting harder.

Does anyone have experience/advice for getting a corporate job as a mask-wearer? In my current field, work is quickly drying up, but I’d love to know if there are large employers out there (I’m in Ontario, Canada) that are still respectful of employees’ decision to mask.
