Coming from someone works with AI constantly, the hate is unfounded but the skeptism is. People fear LLMs for bad information which is very real but no more real than an employee giving bad information. The downside to the boom is the blackbox where we can't trace down the error.

The data suggests that Russia is using the NK troops in the same fashion they did themselves in WW2. I don't think they equate any strategic value to the NK troops but more of a warm body to throw at the enemy approach.
