This’ll sound wanky but I was playing golf on a course the same day as Wrighty a few years back and we bumped into each other in the car park after and had a brief chat. It was when I was face-to-face with him that I realised he is actually a bit of a hero. He’s a good guy with a heart of gold.

I think it’s a proper own goal. I live down the road, know a few ST holders so could get to games easily as long as I could pay. I’d have been one of a few thousand doing that. Wonder how many have stumped up for membership just to have the privilege of buying a ticket. Not many is my guess.

Yep, the fact that you have to buy £50 membership to even buy a ticket has genuinely stopped me from attending. It’s £50 I just don’t really have.

Yep - being on Victoria Line makes it easy to get to the ground. Could go as far away as King’s Cross and wouldn’t be too much travel IMO

Am a Spurs fan and I live in Walthamstow! To be honest this part of London doesn’t have an amazing selection, there is a Premier Inn (cheap chain) at Walthamstow Central - a short walk to the theatre and easy to get to the ground.
