Yeah, that is always the tricky part.
Especially because my book is quite niche. And it's a sequel to the first niche one.
But at least in the game development scene, people seem to like it :)

Ah well. Now I wrote it again. But better.
Hmpf!
When you write on different devices and due to a file conflict you lose an afternoonโs worth of work.

This is why we do this. โค๏ธ
Thanks you so much for these kind words.
Btw - there is a book club happening with my first book. Iโm also doing a Q&A session at the end of August.
This is a first for me - and super exciting ๐

04.08.2025 05:08 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Well, it really depends on the kind of story, imo.
James Bond is a great character that never grows.
Or at least, he was, until the later versions of the moviesโฆ
Book Progress - Vacation over, now back to work. Editing for the book has officially begun. But I also played around with the idea for my next book: www.linkedin.com/posts/narker...

Oh ok, yeah that sounds hardcore. ๐ฌ

2. Steven Pinker: How the mind works

Thereโs probably a ton more people should read, but those would be a good start ๐
Premise of my first dark fantasy chapter:
A servant girls gets hugged for the first time in her life and that sets off an escalation of events that ends with her stabbing her master to death.

Sounds about right.
Iโm writing a sequel and Iโm like - โIโll write this anyway, because my story isnโt finished yet - even if no one will read it, it still must be told!โ ๐

30.07.2025 09:31 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A humorous meme based on a classical painting of an 18th-century man and woman in a lavish room. The man is leaning toward the woman flirtatiously, and she is pushing his face away with her hand while turning away. Text next to the man reads: โDamn girl are you sitting on an F5 key? Because that ass is refreshing.โ The woman responds with: โRupert are you a software update? Because not right now.โ
That feeling when you know you have to show your work to real people eventuallyโฆ
But not right now.
I want to live in my fantasy world a little longer.
Alone.

A screenshot from the Reddit writers community shows a tweet by @cassbeewrites. The tweet humorously reads: โremember, a first draft doesnโt have to be perfect! except for mine. mine must be flawless or I might as well quit. I am the only one this applies to.โ The Reddit logo is in the bottom right corner.
