Ignorance is bliss, until it's not, and a nation's excuse became "wir haben es nicht gewusst." Which nation will be next to use that phrase? Ignorance isn't bliss, it's immoral.

Questions from a neophyte on social media. Five months here, posted 19 times, most of them going unnoticed, collecting 10 "hearts" in total. What am I doing wrong? Or are my posts really just uninteresting crap? Any advice?

Half a century old, battered and colours faded, but still my most faithful and reliable travel companion on every trek and climb. They don't make them like this anymore. Time to hit the trail and head for some pristine Alpine snow.

Came across this carved stone set in the walls of Old Town Dubrovnik. Looks like the builders left their mark. Couldn’t find any info about it though.

Putin meeting Trump in Alaska? Maybe Putin will claim Alaska back using the same lame argument he uses for Ukraine - Alaska "historically (argues Putin)" belonged to Russia for a whole century before it was "illegally (argues Putin)" bought by the US. Trump goes TACO - Art of the Deal, you know...
