Collaboration trains future veterinarians and journalists WSU’s Diagnostic Challenge brings together veterinary and journalism students to practice clear, accurate communication during infectious-disease outbreaks and build public trust.

Murrow College and the College of Veterinary Medicine have partnered for the Diagnostic Challenge, an initiative that aims to equip students with the skills to effectively communicate about infectious disease outbreaks and make veterinary science more accessible to the public.
